Right then, time for an update!

Why hello everybody, nice to see you again!I know, know, this little corner of the of the internet has been, frankly, stagnant for an era now- so I thought I just update you with a quick collage of the pics taken since January. In a nutshell, I've spent loads of time with my awesome friends on Brighton beach, I've jumped into a puddle, I've baked a chocolate victoria sponge for valentines day (Katie and I are as great as ever btw! :D) and I've also had the tiniest amount of influence in making a true piece of art! I've also taken up cycling for fun again- with James- to semi far-flung places such as Southwater. Anyway, it's easter now, the weather is great so far and I've been driving (lessons have started!) Visited the art museum in Brighton, and been to the ruins of a Priory in Lewes! Tuesday sees us going to Steyning forest area and Wednesday we're in London- at the Imperial War Museum no less!

Anyway, that's you up to speed- I'm sure you'll sleep much better this evening...

There's Snow Business Like Snow Business :D

Well, hello to you all! Yes, yes, yes I know- it's been at least one and a half yonks since we last posted on this baby but still, ('de facto') here we are! Today, the 24th January 2007, something quite extraordinary occured- it snowed! And it wasn't your usual 'crop dusting' no sir! This is was you genuine at-least-an-inch snowfall and boy, was it fun :D

With the trains delayed and our mind not really on study we ventured into the great Buckingham Park and much snowballing ensued- this picture [above] really captures the moment (before I hurtle that snowball in Daniel's direction- as he was behind the camera!)

After all the snowball fighting we all became friends again for what really was the most snow we've ever seen here 'down south' and embarked on another wacky adventure- we rolled this new snow into one giant ball (please, no jokes about the size of our ball- anyone who knows me knows that-we're above that :D )

And here it is, the final product! Yup- i'm nearly the size of Dan sitting on that thing! Anyway, we did go to college (eventually ;) I hope everyone had as much fun as we did today- and hope for another 'snow day' tomorrow!

Hello and seasons greetings to you all,

First and foremost Merry Christmas indeed to all those who've taken the time to read this sentence :D Indeed, the time of the year when we buy presents, leave out carrots and chomp on endless, endless piles of sweets (or 'candy' as the yanks call it) is more or less upon us once again- Christmas 2006- it's gonna be an interesting one folks. 2006 has been, now I think about it, a wacky rollercoaster of a year- so I made a video to 'organise my thoughts' as it were. Two Things

Number 1) I want a Penguin. It's decided. I want one for Christmas, one of the baby ones will do, a King I would prefer. Please, please, please, PLEASE!
Watch Penguin Week, 7:17pm Channel 5 all this week! It's so cool! Do it!

and Number 2) On the underground in London the other day (which was a great trip, lovely atmosphere) we met Samuel L Jackson! Yes, he may have been slightly out of it, but i'm sure it was him (Caitlin wasn't convinced though).

Long time, no Blog

Hello folks,

Wow, its been a while since someone was last on here!
Which is sad, but don't worry we haven't abandoned you. Theres just been a lot on at the moment, with college and all.

Not sure whats happening at the mo.
Went cycling today, decided to do some road stuff, bad idea. Ended up shouting at stupid STUPID drivers who have no CLUE! They should all ... !!!! Must stop myself now. I am not happy.

But get to go to BHASVIC tonight to this concert thing and see Caitlin and Rose sing! Yey!

Anyway, take care all, promise you that we will start to post on here more often.

Especially seeing as November was out 1 year anniversary!

I know no-one has posted here for a while but it's been very busy and, as I'm becomming a one-man-band on here I thought i'd do this little picture collage of recent events! So then clockwise it's our trip to London (the eye and the tate modern,) Me and Ben in London- neat pic!, Caitlin and crew who invited us to join them in Lewes for the firework evening and finally Ben and Agnes! Now 'stepping out' (aww bless, I remember young love once hehe!)

So, as I say, busy! Another shout to Kate Dole who is now 17! and also it will be my Katie's birthday soon - a 16th (good year it is too!) so looking forward to that!

The Good ol' Days, Laughing and Fancy Dress

Hey'up everyone!! :D

Just thought I’d update you as I need to keep into this regularly rhythm of posting that I've managed to maintain for several weeks! Also, this post is gonna be a tad picture heavy I’m afraid, still you might find some of it amusing!

Firstly things first, us! My good friend Dan (http://www.danriggs.blogspot.com/) - go there -now! has just done a little post about the best pictures of us four, very touching I know- and we love for it. This prompted me a little bit to tell some of the back story between us four and show all of you our humble beginnings!

Me and Ben have known each other since birth, really (our birthdays are a day apart, with Ben's being on the 17th of September and me the 18th) so Ben's a day old- and he'll never let me forget that! So Ben and I have actually been friends longer than Dan and Mark have been alive! hehe! (if you want to get technical!) Anyway, over the years Dan and then Mark joined our tight-knit group resulting in the four of us today. I can't remember in the haze of time exactly how long the four of us have been friends, I but estimate at least 12 years! Anyway, I’ve embedded a few pics of our 'early days' which I hope you'll like- nothing really changes does it?

Anyway, today we reach a new milestone, that's right- Dan's dressing up as a big, grey bear (bet you didn't see that commin' !!) In actual fact, all four of us are donning some fancy dress for Emma Humphries' Party tonight - before I forget HAPPY BIRTHDAY EMMA!- (it was actually earlier in the week but hey, saying it now!) an so we're all quite excited about that. I know you'll want to see this so pictures will be taken and posted, I promise.

Oooo, that was a long post wasn't it? If you've reached the end- congratulations!

My love to everyone (shall I put lots of names?- awww go on!) inc. Bikes Bite

Why is everyone scared of cyclign now, well not everyone, but that includes Matt, Dan, Ben, ok maybe its jsut them 3.

Anyway, went cycling with my good freidn Loz last sunday (thanks Loz!) it was great, found an AMAZING route after devilks dyke, got a punture, broke all my tyre levers, and ltos of other stuff happened.

If anyone wants to come on an epic let me know. Me and Loz should be doing another one this sunday, so ill keep you updated with new routes and pictures next time too! (and Loz if your reaidn gthis we're going cyclign on sunday)

Yep, as you can tell from the cheap pun it's Matt talkin' ! Ok, ok I'm very sorry for not posting very much lately- it's been kinda busy around here. Between the rain, Dan's fan club with legions of girls and job interviews i've barely had time to blink before something else crazy happens again.

So, where to begin. Number one, I got a new job! (which i'm happy about) from November 18th I shall be a library assistant at Worthing Library (the glamour never stops does it hehe!) Secondly, I got cold and wet and 'orrible yesterday as a I lent my jacket and coat to a friend in the rain! (brrrr!) Finally, Dan's stopped a girl he quite likes the look off in Geography no less! She has been reported to have said is 'like the cutest guy i've like ever met'! (awww, he's going up!) but i'm sure Dan will talk all about that on his blog!

Anyway, because I wanted to break up this blog a bit i've put a couple of random pics in!!! First is Dan, what a legend (that is in French apparently!) and the second is me looking either thoughtful or crazy!

Birthday Surprises!

Hello all you lovely people!

Just thought i'd give you a run down of the week in general (this time it's illustrated!) Firstly, it was my birthday on Monday :D I'm now offically 17 years of age (man, I feel old) and I managed to keep it fairly low key, well... that is until Ben forced me to wear am 'I am 17' badge he brought me (which, I am told, I MUST wear until i'm 18!) I'll take this opportunity to thank everyone who wished me a happy birthday and for all the cards and stuff (I realise i'm fairly cheap just writing my thank you's here but it saves on hand cramp!)

I had a brilliant day at college with everyone wishing my happy birthday (thanks to Jon, Finch and Chris for instigating a chorus of 'happy birthday to you' on the train- you legends ;) To top it all off I had lovely evening in with my girlfriend Katie just to make the day complete [see picture] - perfect!

Adding to this already lengthly post (well, you deserve it!) Mark, Ben and I were mucking around on the Zip Line in the local Ann's Well Park- we snapped a few 'action shots' - hope you like! Finally, I have two new upcomming videos in the works, one is a serious video about bullying for the 'anti-bully week' (which will be shown to year 8 Davison girls- i'm only assisting really!) and the other is something myself and James Doc are finding time for- '1001 things to do with your free Metro'- it's looking hilarious already!

Wow- what a long post! As you can see things are indeed happening- thanks again everyone!!!!

Hello all, only a quickie to say that college is 'pretty darn good' as I would say. We've almost travelled through our first week at BHASVIC and college life is shaping up to be very good indeed. All of the freetime we have (which is a huge chaneg from school) allows you to go and socialise- we even found a park for the likes of us 'big-ish' kids the other day :D

So a big thumbs up so far- excellent! If you think i'm totally wrong and that it's a load of crap (or if you agree!) just leave us a comment, would love to hear you thoughts.

Not a Happy Bunny

Well, hope everyone is settling into college, i hear worthing starts tomorrow so hope it goes well. And if anyone who reads this goes to BHASVIC and doesn't know either me or Matt please comment (however im sure you will know us no doubt...).

Anyway i thoguht id fill up this space with my pain and misery since i have a few spare minutes. Went out cycling the other day, as per usual no one else came! (Grrr!) So i was on my own. Didn't go too ar just a mile or two past Devils Dyke, on my way back everyhting was going fine (beautiful day) then i got a punchure (and almost, but not quite fell off) well, that was annoying, so i fixed it, new inner tube in, all done... ah... no pump, yep thats right, now i was screwed, and not being enough grass around to stuff in the tire (althroguh im not a great beleiver of this anyway) i had to walk about 5 miles to get to the nearest road in which i walked a few miles further to find help! Not happy!

This was made worse by me falling off my bike up on Devils Dyke in front of about 200 people, only a little embarising seeing as i wasn't moving at the time (pedals you see!)

Anyway, thats me done.

Hello, hello. Yeah I know sorry, it's been ages, and I haven't posted in about one and a half yonks! Just thought I owe it to you all to give you an update on our lives! Okey dokey then, first up we've been playing Squash- riviting I know. Secondly we've been sailing a fair amount, yet we still could not forsee the boat not being able to fit under a bridge (see pic) which was a) very funny and b) made us looking even more stupid than usual (it is possible!)

Anyway, college tomorrow and just know you're all excitied about it! We'll let you know how it all turns out, also (more of a footnote here) work is boring :)

Why hello there everyone, lots of posts happening now, well you get what you ask for!

Well folks, the GCSE's are in- we hope you all did really well and got everything you hoped for! Meanwhile Ben and I had the unenviable opportunity to open our results live on Southern FM's Radio Breakfast Show! The video below has the interview and some pics that were snapped during it- enjoy us being nervous, it's rare and amusing!

Well it turned out ok then! We're all very happy with our results and I hope you are too, well done everybody you've all worked extremely hard!

Right then! I owe a lot of people a lot of shouts and thanks so I thought I’d do them all in one swoop. This post is all about you lot for once- the brilliant bunch of brainy folks who listen in of this ere' blog! I've added as many pictures of you all as I could find!

First and foremost, I've been promising for the longest of times that I’d mention my fair lady (my girlfriend Katie- who is amazing, obviously) on our little corner of the internet. We've been 'stepping out' for a fair old while now (don't we look so happy?!?) and I STILL haven't got round to it- now that's changed. So all my love! (One more item off the list!)

Moving on, the next person is Dan, he is quite simply a leg-end and even has our little blog on this 'Google homepagey thingy' as I call it- top man! Also there is Sarah, I realise I've shouted her before but I just couldn't help it this time- she's such a great reader of the blog and comments everyone (which I love to see, proves there's someone out there!) and, I observed recently, that she has a rather brilliant singing voice (now the world knows!) Next up on my list is Maddi (or Madz!) who also reads our blog a heck of a lot. She would describe herself as 'a bit sexy' and a huge shout to her (epically as she's currently on holiday!)

Finally (I’m near the end- honest!) There's people like Jade, Alex, Emma and Steph who all pop in and read the blog from time to time or otherwise have a good ol' chat with me on msn, it's lovely to keep in touch- they've all asked for a shout at some point so here it is!

Too all you wonderful people, thank you for taking the time to read the blog- it definitely makes me feel that bit more special to know that people like you are around and sometimes interested!

Now that I have fulfilled all of my promises I can sleep easy (in the form of an apology, I have been promising to do this for a while- but its here now!)

Bushes, Brambles and Bad Luck

Hey lovin friends,
It me! I'm back! (and im talking about me being Mark by the way)
Anyways, im back from my holiday in Devon, and before you all come rushing to ask me how it was (sarcasim), it was great thanks.

Hope everyone is enjoying their summer so far, things seem to be cooling down a lil now which is nice, but the bloddy wind! (and thats my rant over)

Anyway i thought id share some of my experainces with you, after all thats what this blog is all about. Isn't it? Or have i lost the plot.
Anyway, i just got my new bike!!!! YEY!
Been a couple of weeks now i've had it, and still falling off (its the pedals you see, you clip in, and well... you cant get out...)

Anyway, today, now i no you want to hear about today. Well today i (all by my little self, on my own) went back over to Devils Dyke and beyond. It started with a quick skip into this forest which i thought may be a wee shortcut to get there. Turned out i was wrong. And basically the consequence on that was me cycling around this palce for about an hour trying to find a way out/the right way to go. In the end i settled on this nice little route which again was another bad idea. Turned out it finished rather abruptly in a field of bushes, thorns, brambles and a whole manor of other nasty things. I continued knee deep, however nature eventually won so i turned back to find myself right next tot he correct path i should have taken.

So off i went... the right way this time. Up a long steep ascent, eventually reaching the top by a farm. "Ooo, this is new i thought" again, of course, being rather wrong. Turns out my shortcut wasn't much of a shortcut after all. Never the less i battled on, and stopped for lunch. For which i would like to thank Mr Kipling, couldnt live without that man, my God his cakes are good. So while i was scoffing away another moutian biker shot past on his Marin Full Suspension rig. Not to be outdone i quickly got back on my saddle and the pursuit ensued. I overtook him on every climb, but on every downhill section he passed me, and unfortuneatly this being the Downs theres rather a lot of both of them.

We both made it to Devils Dyke, neck and neck of sorts at which point we decided introduction were in order. We did all that and i went on a little further while my new 'mate' had lunch. I can't really remember what happened at this point everythign was a little hazzy but there was some hills involved and i eventually found myself back at the dyke. Where i made another discovery two really fit (sorry, 'attractive') girls, doing some sort of sun research with big sticks and a camera (for which i, of course, smiled)( :) something like that) . So if you are one of those people or you know them... well.. uhh.. "hello"!

So at this point i headed for home, some more punishing climbs were in order till i eventually came to this path, where i met my second cycling buddy (stranger even), we met said hello, names followed as did palces where we lived and then we made our way. Maybe again i made my last mistake of going down this pather which turned out to bew rather steep (yes, i was scared!) and full of nasty ruts and really really big rocks! and small ones too.

Anywya at the bottom, there was, well.. nothing. But i gound myself at Bramber (somehow) and thend ecided to take the cycle path home. So then, thank you for sitting through a very boring tale of my adventure today, and if you want to join me on a trip dont hesitate to call!!! Everyone seems busy now with g/f and grandparents! Coh!

An Apology From The Lone Ranger...

My dear friends,

Firstly my apologies for not updating the blog in a while but there hasn't been a lot of news! Mark and I now both have jobs and finding time in which to do anything is becoming difficult. A recent trip to Devil's Dyke (cycling- of course!) was pretty funny and worth a mention (we got caught in a hail storm- ouch!) Also we managed to find some 'portajon' loo's in the middle of a field and Mark was convinced that one of them could transport you across the globe! Therefore I have invented a 'TransPortaJon' - see below! Note: The name 'Trans-portajon' belongs to Matt, owever the initial idea is mine! All MINE!!!! (sorry i get possesive sometimes

(well I thought it was funny!)

Another reason for no updates has been the fact that everyone is on holiday at the moment- except me of course! (big shout to Dan, Ben, Katie and our very own Mark if they are reading this on their holidays by the way- most of them have made it to Italy!) So then, it's me 'flying solo' as they say, hope everyone is having a good holiday whatever they're doing!

This was actually a while ago now but i've been putting off bloggin' about it because we did so much! To summerise we saw women in black, we had giant ice creams at box hill, we ate pizza hut outta bisunsess, we slept, kept ringing each other up, we went on 'uncle azzarros tour of london!', we went to the aquarium, we went in simulators, we shot things (no joke!), dan got whiplash on a dogem!, we played air hockey, WE WENT ON THE EYE!, we chilled a starbucks in a tendy rengent street shop, we went to hamleys, we played with bouncy balls all over trafalgar square, we soaked up the atmoshpere in lester square, we saw a good film in the best cinema EVER!, we went to the science mueseam, actuallly saw a good imax film!, we (I) touched a spitfire, we got stuck in taffic (whilst we were singing to 'uptown girl! lmao!) and we came home again

The Most OARful Blog You Shall Read

Ok, so for starters soory the awfully cheap pun (oh there it goes again) and making it all too obvious. Oh dear, oh dear, oh dear- you're not exactly pushing the boat out with that are you?!?
Anyway, ill keep this short and sweetish for now and come back to it later.
However exams are now over for us, and most others.. so hope they wern't too bad and make sure you let us now how you did! Or, better still, swap grades?

So with free time on our hands myself, Matt and Dan took a trip out in the boat. Went up to Upper Beading and Matt didn't even lose his rowlocks although it was pretty darn close folks ;) ! Yey! (Joke intended there... jsut a poor one at that) It's not exactly plain sailing with the jokes is it?
So without further ado here are some photos from our adventures.
Matt's pet is to follow also, some kind of Heron we saw, think he named him Aaron... along those lines. (I serenade it at night with cello songs!)

And a big shout to Alex Taylor as it was her birthday last wednesday! Yeah, you go there- 16 is amazing so enjoy- congrats!

Ahoy there everyone paddling across the great sea of the internet! (I could've said surfing, but that would just be too easy!)

Sunday was actually a chance to try out this magnificent boat of which you have heard so much about! It went very well, considering it was a very calm day and we had to row our way around! We had a little bit of trouble with the mud at the Ropetackle- we started sinking a little (if anyone reading this lives there or can change that slipway- do it now!!!

Anyway, we managed to row a good 8miles between us, which took us to the cement works and back- which was rather nice, it'll all kick off when Mark gets the sail sorted though- watch out for us- capsizing on a river near you!

Finally something for the 2 month holiday ahead!

Kiting, Wind and Rain

Yo yo yo (as a wise person once said!)

I realised that this is turning into the daily kiting report/ weather watch but it's been a strange sort of day. Mark and I played tennis (normal) and then set off kiting (again, normal!) But then, just as we got the kite set up and flying it tipped it down! We found cover but not before us (and the kite- as Mark'll tell you) got soaking wet!

The irony is, of course, as soon as we got home - it was completely sunny again! This seems to happen to everyone but it's very annoying indeed you know!

Death, Air and Whoa! That Hat!

Good evening to you all,

Thought I'd just share will you a few things. Firstly, in arguably the most serious bit of 'air' we've ever achieved kiting, I had a near injury experience. Notably, this is not the first, but the Kite took me about 6ft up in the air and pulled me 15ft along before I was unceremoniously dumped back on the ground. Miraculously, I managed to land and roll- meaning no bones were broken (although I can report that the neck ache is a killer!) The only bad thing is- no one filmed it, O well- there's always next time. Can i just interject. Just noticed in that picture of amtt wiht the kite... he he, look at the gimp in the background running away..! ...oh.. thats me...

Secondly, it was Maddi's (Ben's lady!) 15th Birthday on Friday and so warmfelt congratulations etc etc (wasn't that guitar a 'bit sexy!?!') and that brings me to the rather scary picture of myself in the Davison hat- random, weird and amusing.

So then, just another day in our existence!

It's true.
And this is most likely the first place you'll hear about it as myself and my father were 'first on the scene' (as they say)

Well, the sand refinery place along the beach (near Hove) has caught on fire, and well was burning quite nicely by the time we left. One of the belts caught on fire, so check the news as im sure it will be on something local. Well there you go, Mark and Matts blog always with the latest greatest news! Can't say I watched the local, nothing on national though (shock!)

In other stories this evening... I hear Davisons had a bomb scare... can't say i'm very wel infomred on this though. Apparently somebody phoned in with a threat, my sympathy to all those who had to sit on the field for an hour and a half! (espically in PE gear!)

And in a more personal note personal?!?! (lol) , i almost got killed by my kite... again! Yey.

Well i hope everyones exams went swimmingly. Both Englsih (is the misspelling purposefully ironic?) and ICT i hear people had today, so good luck with any future exams also :D

And thos of you reading this who havent got exams. You lucky ********! (Sorry was trying to spell...ummm.... 'people'!)

Tribute to LOZ!

Hi all,

Today, at special request by the man himself, I have the pleasure of informing you all about Mr Laurence Darlington- known to his friends as 'loz' or 'lozza' or 'that clot'

And its high time i edited this to make it a little more true...

I've personally known this man for about two years now and he is quite the legend. A practical expert at mountain biking, Loz and I have embarked on many cycling trips together and it's about time he got a post (especially considering he is an avid reader of this little blog!) i'll give him that.. we have gone on many cycles with him and he is second only to Ben Miller...

Also his other talents include powerkiting (NO! You got me killed! - Basically), cookery (So that fire wasn't him), hiking (DofE man!) and, perhaps the biggest of the lot- he makes the world's meanest cheesecake (i'm not kidding, it's the best thing ever! Yet let me point out neither I or Matt have yet to try this cheesecake of which we hear so much about... i mean its meant to be good, but maybe it just contains loads of E) Maybe, with his permission, I shall stick his e-mail up for you kind people so you can order a cheesecake from Loz for yourself!

So anyway, i've done my public service for today! So have I - ie almost again getting killed by Loz! Thanks man!

Kiting- Feel the Power!

Hello boys and girls,

Today the unspeakable has happened, it's something truely wonderous- there was wind! Admittedly, this doesn't sound particularly thrilling but, for us, it meant only one thing; PowerKiting!

Mark and I ventured down to the Adur Rec very early indeed and after some very technical stuff (inolving knots and lines) the Kite was set up and ready to fly! All it took was a gentle tug of the controls (and a little whistling for the wind! [see windy miller] we were up and away! It was surprisingly easy to control (hell, even I could do it!) and all was good- until it got windier, really windier!

In the end the wind became so strong that I was pulled from one side of the rec to the other! And the arrival of Loz did nothing to help the wind speed (loz should be able to control the weather!) The result was a fray on Mark's brake doohicky, but it was fun nevertheless!

The End of Something Special... :(

Well, here we have it... with today being the last day of St Andrews...

It's sad to see everyone go but i guess we must look at new begginings rather than old endings.
Hopefully we'll still all stay in touch, its been a great 4 years and, well, everyone's been great! Good going guys.

I'd like to wish everyone good luck in their GCSE's also, not just as St Andrews, but Davisons and anyone else who happens to read this blog. Hope they go well people!

Now, going from important to not, in a split second, id like to mark the arrival of my new kite!
(Im afraid it has no disney characters) but instead is a 4 metre Flexifoil Blade III. Quite a beast i hear, just waiting for some wind to try it out... hopefully tomorrow, so the next blog could come to you from A and E. Who's knows... all i know is that im bound to injure something... even if it isnt me :)Hope all you readers are well.

Hello are you lovely, lovely lovely people!

Obviously, we haven't done a lot of 'blogging' recently but I hope you understand why. Last night was the Young Enterprise Area Finals and i'm very pleased to say that our company 'Print your Mind' swept the awards with 'best website' 'best presenation' and 'best overall company!'Which i then swipped myself! he he. We were, to put it mildy, very suprised!

As a reward we all got a little bit of cash, some shiny trophies and a slot of Splash FM's radio show! This was fantastic and fun was had by all. We've never been stronger as a team and only teamwork could've won those awards- so well done all!Oh dear, there it was! Very true though, it was a great night too and the radio yey, poor dave hunt having us in his studio.

We now go to the next level- the South East Region Finals next Wednesday (very nerve racking!) so thank's for everyone's support and wish us luck (we'll need it!) Oh yes, cant wait for that!

Just a quick post about today.

Myself and Matt went cycling over to Henfield which was a nice trek. Stopped at a few places on the way to admire the view; although one field was full of cows.

We went around Henfield for a while, got slightly lost then made our way back over the downs where the fun began.

We decided to take a slight variation on the normal route. So we went into a field which turned out to be private and had a few shotgun cartridges lying around but we managed to sneak to the top which was then all surrounded by barbed wire. Luckily we managed to hop the first fence to be confronted by another. Bikes in hand we scrambled over the next.

We were then left in a field of cows and bulls; as we slowly cycled past they all looked up and gave us evils, but we were soon out without any serious damage to ourselves and back on the way home.

An interesting day and I hope everyone’s else was just as eventual.

Hello all you wonderful people out there.

It's easter time and the weather is fine. Ah well; hope everyone is making the most of there holidays and you'll have to let us know of all the funny adventures you are getting yourselves into so they can feature on this here blog. Yeah- let's make it the 'people's blog!'

First off must say a warm hello to Sarah so "Hello Sarah!!!". As im hoping you are well aware it was her birthday not very long ago. So how does it feel to be that little bit (let me get this right) ..'wiser'..? So i hope all is well and for everyone else as a matter of fact. :D Thanks for the comment Sarah [note the reply!]

Secondly you can listen to me prattle on about what myself and Matt got up to. This time thoguht, luckerly (thank God we're not taking English GCSE- O wait, nuts!), it's short and sweet as we've spent most our time just playing tons of badminton and doing a little (large) amount of cycling. So if anyones intrested in doing either of those with us we're ready to go!

Holidays!

For once, the holiday starts with some sun...

All things considered, it was an active day too- mainly cos of the weather. Mark and I (along iwth our friend Dan) played a couple of hours of badminton to start us off. We then went down to Shoreham where we ran into Steph and Emma (not literally!) We were all quite bored and decided to use one of those 'crazy' touristy machine thingys. The result was the photo [inset!]

Then, just to top it all off, Mark and I went for a cycle. We realised that cycle is way, way better than just talking on msn(anyone who knows me knows I think this anyway!! It's ok, i only just found out too) It was a bit windy but hey; can't have everything.

As I sit in my room rattling on the Sun is emitting a warming, yellow glow as it gradually fades beneath the far horizan (now im pretty sure it's not meant to do that, so better say bye now). I realise how far i've come- and how far I have still to go... (hmm, it's amazing how staring out of a window can make you think deeply- maybe it's just me) I think it is just you Matthew! :D

Thats right folks the past few weeks have brought upon many challenges in the form of House Rugby and Thorpe Park.

First thoguh an appology, we havn't blogged much recently but dont worry we havent forgotten about you we just havent had much time with exams looming amoung other things.

Anyway it only seems right i dedicate this sentence to a good oh pat on the back to the rest of our house rugby team. Me and Matt also paricipated (took part) and we ended up second in the ranking which is not bad at all (now here come the excuses) our captain got injured in the last match. Anyway it was a great few games and i think everyone came out slightly beaten afterwards and most definatley feeling the aches and pains then next day.

That weekend, or last weekend, however you want to look at it, we set off to Thorpe Park. Ah well what can i say, a great day, so much so we're going back after half term. Went on tons of the rides, etc would recommened it to anyone. In the end we ended up going on Nemisis about 9 times, all in search of trying to get a decent picture; by that time thoguh i think we had memorised the track. However there was no joy so it was over to the log flume to provides some wetness and you can see the results are below (sorry for the expressions we wanted to make it dramatic (and matt just hit me in the groin, lol, just kidding) but we were going for the dramatic effect, honest!) Anyway the running order is random women in the front, then Matt, then Me and finally our good old friend Dan (however to be fair he's not that old).

In the Summertime...

Afternoon all!

This Sunday was probably a first in British history- it was sunny! it didn't rain! there were no clouds! This was a typical excuse for another cycle trip into the vast forests near Steyning with Me, Mark, Dan, Ben, Loz and Daryl. There was capture the flag and rugby and in each of them Loz was, um interesting. I found a shop that sells swizzle sticks (remember them!) and Maxibon ice creams! (well- food first you know!)

It was definately a good day all round and to add into the bargin I also manged to capture this photo of Dan and Ben- in action! This will all be good prep for house rugby on Wednesday!

Anyways, i'll quite hogging the airwaves- goodnight

Or we can change it slightly: "There is neither Townie nor Goth, there is neither Emo nor Sk8r, there is neither Chav nor Chavette: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus." (Now thats brining the Bible into the 21st Century!)

I'm not a Chav, i'm not a Townie and nor am I a Goth. So what am i?

Thats the question i keep asking myself everyday (yes, i have a lonely life).
The problem is there seems to be so many social groups nowadays i don't know where i belong. (And lets not begin the discussion on what each one is)

I bet some of you ask yourself the same question. I seem to be lost, in a rift, maybe im just not keeping up with the times. Or maybe there should be a new group for me. Can call it 'Nutter'. But i hope your starting to see my point. In this world with Chav's, Townies, Goths i don't know where i belong. Everyone seems to be somewhere (well most). So someone tell me where i should be?

Also, whats the need for these now apparent social divides? What does it do. As far as I can see a Chav just wants to destroy, a Townie is just a wannabe Chav, a Goth wants every Chav to be his/her enemy, an Emo just wants to die (correct me if im wrong here folks, never too sure myself) and a Skater hates Chavs and.. well... Skates.

What happened to the days where a group of people could live together without being mortally divided? I see nothing wrong with people making various groups, it shows individuality, but when they turn on each other... can't help but think what have we become... and where am i in all this? The man in the middle, standing in the middle of the battlefield of the impending civil war.

On an more serious note, school council was another frenzy of debate and discussion today as Mark and I sat in for our very own head boy team [see the picture where we're hot on the argument. Note - Get new picture!] We began to get very close to the sad truth that the school makes a rather large profit on St Andrews Prom tickets *sigh* and also how any money that the school does receive goes on rugby shirts!

Isnt the picture of dennis just telling us off for sitting at the table? Either way all went well and i think we left our mark. And remember folks fancy dress day at St Andys on the 27 or 28th March so post here if you have any good ideas for costumes. Me and Matt have already got ours worked out so i hope everyonwe else joins in too!

Anywhos, over random ramblings aside, the main point are the birthdays! CONGRATUATIONS PEOPLE! Yess, has been a great day, and i hope all the special birthday people have enjyed it. And Sarah im afriad your gonna have to wait another year for this day to roll around again, but for now, savour the moment and have fun! Oh yes and congrats for turning one year 'wiser' (well thhey said that to me yet i notice no difference)

Ah what a show. (Well, could be debated).

Hello once again.

As intresting weekend? Yeah, most definatley. Saturday was just me and matt, no one else would come and play so we were left to amuse ourselves. Went for a spot of tennis on the local green. That was good fun; i think we can call it a draw too which is nice. Afterwards we went for some lunch which i will spare you the details of.

After all the food we made our way down to the old Fort on Shoreham place, we 'hanged' out for a while and chatted.

Sunday was even less intresting; mainly consisting of IT coursework for both of us. Knew we should have done something in those lessons, and thats me thinking they were for playing games. Oh well. We also played some badminton in Steyning against two of our mates who, we, of course, won, but it was a good game all round and id like to cogratulate the opposing team/players. And that about some up the weekend.

Yeah, i know, but come on the reason you came here was to read about our rather crippleing boring life so thats what your gonna get im afraid. Until of course our article on ticker tape comes along, which will be soon, very soon.

Hello again, I come to you today with disturbing news.

It all began on Sunday when Mark, myself and a couple of friend where enjoying one of our normal games of poker (as you do!) I was losing (as usual) and so my mind wondered to talking about tarot cards. Daniel, a friend of ours, had actually never heard of them!- a crime in itself. He then dug himself into a deeper hole (as usual) by asking us if it was a poker hand! Lol- yeah right 'Mark has two pair but I have the Happy Squirrel!' (However, luckerly my hand still won)

Anyway, short story short, this made me remember a great simpsons episode (being a Simpsons nut myself!) where they mentioned the worst tarot card imaginable- 'The Happy Squirrel!' This made me laugh so much that I went on a little quest over it and found out that companies actually do produce it- it exists!

So if you see me in the next few days don't be surprised if i randomly outburst will 'ahhh- the happy squirrel!' as it's gotta be one of the funniest things in existance!

I will admit that i can't really remember what happened last week; apart from school. And apart from the wicked assembly on Monday (let me say 'lol' there). Otherwise I’m sure nothing else seemed to register.

Never mind though; yester we went cycling to Worthing; took us just over an hour to get back (sounds pathetic i know) but it was due to a rather strong breeze (gale even). And then that made us late for an interesting Church service with cake. Lots of cake.

Not much happening recently or so much happening we havent had time to blog. Well its one of them at least.

Here we are thoguh, with some time of our hands, wisely spending it here. So, what happened today you ask. Well the answer is ..... Bowling.

Yes, YE members of PYM (thats www.printyourmind.co.uk) all decided to go on a bowling trip/game as an enjoyable team building exercise. Unfortuneatly Andy (the pro) 'wiped the floor' with us, so so much for team building. Never the less it was enjoyable and im sure pictures will follow.

This is also a goodbye message. No, the blog isnt closing, got you scared for a bit there though didnt we! (Maybe not) - Not its just myself, Mark is going away for a few days. Will be back on Saturday, this is just so you dont panic and call the police because you havent seen me in a while.

Hello again and welcome to a mystical journey to unravel the deep questions posed by life itself- or I could say we just went cycling!

Last Saturday Lozza, Stuart, Ian, Alex, Dan, Mark and I embarked on a little cycling jaunt up to a forest I stumbled across near Steyning two weeks previously- and what a day! The weather was great and we spent a few hours playing with our electric 'shocking' guns around the site of an abandoned barn and then we also (omitting Stuart's amusing dance routine!- video to follow!) found a huge field where our voice strangely echoed for miles.

The best was yet to arrive as Lozza and Co found an abandoned
firing range for us to mess around in! Several highlights of the trip were Lozza and I beating some foolish CHAV's on their little 'i-can't-go-more-than-15mph-up-hills' mopeds! And all of us trying to 'salvage' an old engine of some kind!

We plan to make a return trip to this site on our inset day (Tuesday) so expect more on this!

Happy February! (Quite a ring to it don't ya think)

Welcome everyone to the blog in february time. Not much happened to myself and matt today but we did come across a rather ammusing news article in the times. So if your out go buy a copy of todays times now! (now that i've finsihed advertising times, i'll go onto what is actually inside the paper)

Well for starters it lloked like the perfect edition for women "What Men Really Think About." I guess for some of the ladies out there it could come in very useful. I wanted to see if the informaiton they had was actually true. Being a guy myself (yes, i know someone will leave a comment "could have fooled me", so there you go i said it for you), and having a mental capacity big enough to do more than watch football drink beer and read the Sun/ Daily Star i began delving deep into the Times to see if they had got it right.

After getting past all the other words about politics i finally reached the article in question. However after reading it i was greatly disappointed; it told me nothing that i think about. Well it mainly went on about how men don't actually think about sex every seven seconds but instead every day... Then the intrestring part came. Apparently over 50% of men fantasise about having 'fun' with animals. This is the Times we're talking about here. Not osme run down, tabloid piece of magazine such as Nuts (which lets be honest is the longesest word in that magazine in question).

I'm sorry i had to be the bearer of this news but i found it rather disturbing yet it seems very untrue to me... Well there we go. And i appologise for turning this blog into one of those mentioned down market tabloid newspapers i mentioned; lets see if i can re build its status in the next entry.

Jet Setting

Oh so; not much happening this week so far. But seeing as our new stat counter has told me 40 different people have visited this blog over the past three days i thought there best be something new for our wonderful readers well to read!

Not much has happened. Had some legendary lessons thoguh, such as History as well as the oh so good bsuiness stuides. In which i was told to go and stay round Matt's house for the weekend. I'm not kidding our teacher really did tell me to stay at Matt's. Yes i know, very odd, but still...

Hmm.. what else has happened.. not mcuh im afraid well if anything has happened to you let us know via email or comment and we will post it. I heard in another comment someone got radioactivised by gamma radiation. I really want to find out who this perosn is, cos im really intrested in it. And also so i can warn you all not to go withing 5 miles of him/her.

And before I jet set off. Must say hello to Jess, hello, hasnt been a better Jess since well Jess the black and white cat! Cycling (Cant think of anything better)

Hello once again.

Some more random photos for you all to laugh at will follow but for now let me explain the story behind them.

Had a little cycle with some friends from school (Loz, Dennis Standing (aka Head Boy), and Funz); was good fun; in fact hope to do it again some time so if anyone is intrested in coming with drop us a line. Found a nice little forest with random abandoned buildings.

So yes, that was good fun, went from Shoreham over to Steyning, up onto Downs then along to Cisbury Ring (sorry about the spelling of that) then down that hill and then back along to Shoreham. Very muddy indeed, had to stop and carry bikes a fair distance too.. and just when we thoght we were out of it we have to thank Loz for, well, getting us back in it! Thanks man.

So yes, a very enjoyable day.

BEWARE OF AZZARO!

Hiya you fantastic folks!

Just a flying visit from me as I had to jot down what happenend in my RE class today. Some guy, who willl remain nameless, made a rather amusing poster with pictures of our DH Mr Azzaro on it and the words 'BEWARE OF AZZARO!' This was promptly printed 40 times to different printers around the school! It was plastered around the class he was teaching in too (ours!) Luckily he took it with the great humour we've come to expect and love from our teachers (apart from Mr 'stone face' Straw!)

Of course the great thing is he can't find out i've written this as the school has blocked our blog!

English - Spelling aint Important

The European Commission has just announced an agreement whereby
English will be the official language of the European Union rather
than German,which was the other possibility.

As part of the negotiations, Her Majesty's Government conceded that English spelling had some room for improvement and has accepted a 5-year phase-in plan that would become known as "Euro-English".
In the first year, "s" will replace the soft
"c". Sertainly, this will make the sivil servants jump with joy. The hard "c" will be dropped in favour of "k". This should klear up konfusion, and keyboards kan have one less letter.
There will be growing publik enthusiasm in the sekond year when the
troublesome "ph" will be replaced with "f". This will make words like
fotograf 20% shorter.
In the 3rd year, publik akseptanse of the new spelling kan be expekted to reach the stage where more komplikated changes are possible. Governments will enkourage the removal of double letters which have always ben a deterent to akurate speling.Also, al wil agre that the horibl mes of the silent "e" in the languag is disgrasful and it should go away.

St Andy Staff kick ass?!!

Well hello all you lovely people who have come to gaze in at the tree of knowledge and maybe, just possibly, take a bite from one of it's apples. Yeah, i've heard this story; it's in the bible and it doesnt turn out too good.

A couple of weeks of relative boredom for Mark and I ended abruptly today when serveral things happened that left us in stitches! - No it wasn't a fight just incredibly funny stuff! For him at least...

Firstly a rather amazing science lesson took place where a trend was started (I shall not enlighten you as to who) which involved making signs and holding them up. I put up one saying 'love you Funz' which was returned by one to me from Dennis stating 'Matt I still love you!' All of this was, however topped by Ed's rather fantastic 'Call Dennis 0*******90 for a good time' - Oh classic! The season of running around calling each other 'gay' has once again started. And also has the season for chavs. Waiting in the hall sitting behind a table calling out 'chav' and seeing how many people would turn around and start having a go at us (only to chavs of course). Score as it stand is 1 to me and 1 to matt.

The next amusing thing to occur was a football match between St Andrews Staff and Durrington High Staff. Tensions were high and the Standy staff looked beat as they strolled onto the pitch. Luckily Mark, myself and serveral other fantastic peers were on the sidelines yelling out classic remarks such as 'COME ON PESSIA' and 'WE DONT BOO AT ST ANDREWS BUT YOU SUCK!' Some pictures are sure to follow! And Mr 15 from Durrington (yes you know who you are), you swore at us and we want revenge! That just wasnt very nice... :(

Mark? Matt? Dead?

Ok, ok, ok, you can all stop rejoiceing now. I'm still alive, and kicking (sadly, for some)

But a near death experiance perhaps? Well me and my fellow counter part Matt were in science today (as you do) when a cloud of nitrogen (could be hyrdrogen) gas came rolling and swirling towards us. We bo9th ducked for cover by behold it was to late. Then the slow, but painful experiances and conseques of such gas came into affect. I won't go into any specific details; but i can assue you that it was not all that good.

One lesson has been learnt out of this. Science is dangerous; and like most other things should have more health and safety measures in place. But for now all i can recommened is that you stand at least 10 metres away from science at all times.

Thats 'Mini'

Our friend Ben has just purchased a £500 mini along with him £400 guitar.

Ok so its slowly falling apart, rusting and doesn't quite yet start. And also isn't in the greatest colour of lime green. But it is a mini; although i have challenged it to a race on my motorbike(that's a bit ambitious- try my bike e.d) so that should be intresting. (once it's actually woerking, if ever, that is) It is a shown in the pics (note ben in the pics e.d)

Well he's got a few years to get it working; then maybe ill be too big to fit in the back. Before i die due to lack of seat belts (but we shall see); althroguh it can't be as bad as my bike saftey wise. Actually can i take that back? (the mini is currently safer- it's going nowhere for now! e.d)

Anyways drive past him house and maybe, just maybe you shall see it (it it hasn't had a nice coating of rust by then).

On another note, we (as in the bloggers here, matt and mark) went to see Jarhead today at what they call a cinema. It was ok, resonable, medioka, not bad, but then on the other hand not great either. I mean if you want to see it, go ahead its a pretty good film, some parts are funny and the story line isn't too bad. But i couldn't recommened it, story line wasnt all that great, too much swearing and bluntness. So overall i'd give it 6/10. And thats my film criticness over for today.(I agree, an accurate portrail of the Iraq war but a strange creation e.d)

Train Guard Goes Off The Rails?

Well here we go again in the bizarre workings of our lives and yet again realise that the various cogs and gears need oiling. Today we bore witness to which words fail me- I will, however, try my best to phase what I can only call 'The Rage of the Train Guard!'

It all began as we standing at Worthing Station waiting for our daily train to take us back to Shoreham and, as ever, it was delayed. This is not strange but then it got weirder. An announcement then rang out over the station which explained the delays 'I'm sorry for the delay to your journeys but some idiot, or idiots, have place some yellow pages on the station at Goring. This is very stupid and is stopping all of the trains.' Despite the obvious seriousness of the situation I could hardly prevent myself and I burst into laugher. What an absurd thing to happen? The next thing that occurred to my usually perplexed brain was that it couldn't possibly take long to clear- surely just move the offending yellow pages and bingo! Trains run again!

My rather naive diagnosis, however, proved to be a falsehood as it took a further 15 minutes to clear to line. During this time however the 30-odd St Andrews students began to get a little, well, restless. This lead to another bizarre call from 'the angry train guard' now yelling irately saying 'Will the insane kids please stop messing around!' which provoke only further laugher. At this he yelled down the microphone 'WILL YOU STOP PLAYING WITH THAT LIFT OR I WILL COME UP THERE MYSELF!' - this only provoked only a chorus of 'ooooo's' as is customary amongst our students. How amusing! I think somebody needs to give the crazy man counselling!

As I close there's one more thing I’d much like to know- who placed the offending material (the yellow pages) on the line- was it you? Do you know them? Was it funny? It was any of these please give us a bell!

Hello (once again) people.

Hope all is well. So, St Andrews exams have finished (for the most part) so we can now relax and take a brake yet still anticipating the real GCSE's just a few months away. Joy.

Couple of funny events happened recently. Myself and Matt were walking along Worthing Pier at about lunchtime on Thursday and a couple of police officers stopped us and asked why we wern't at school; we explained they accepted then they said "Ok, it's just because we were looking for someone." Quite sensiably Matt asked what school they came from and they said "Oh we don't no who they are." Please someone tell me, hoiw do you find someone if you don't know who they are? Very weird. At that point we left very quickly and went in search of.... well money would have been nice but more 'other stuff to do'.

And second on the list of funny, well should i say strange things that have happened. Myself and Matt were walking to school (today in fact) when behold a lamp post fell out the sky right next to us. Luckerly we surived (just) as the post was caught by a couple of people fitting a new one (no kidding). But yes, that was odd; it just fell, i mean yes it was attackwed to a truck but to be honest it wouldnt of helped much if it wasnt caught by them.

Thats about all for now. Oh and so you remember its my birthday on the 12th (next Thursday). (If you catch my drift.) Normally 'lol' would follow here as i am joking, but i really don't want to use those 'words' on this blog. Seems to downrate it somewhat. And on the 14th I got my CBT so it's all happening around here.

Suicidal Seagulls

First off i'd like to say this blod is not dead. (unlike the seagull ill get onto later) Its just that its been Christmas, santa got stuck down my chimley so i had to spend a few days getting him out and now we have exams. So as you can tell its been a busy time for Strong and Gates. But we're back, and this time I bring you an interesting story on, you guessed it Suicidal Seagulls.

It all started in our RE exam when a seagul flew onto the top on the sports hall (where we do our exams) and started banging it's head on the roof and being made out of metal (the roof that is) it made an awful bu8t quite hilarious racket. So we now have the world first Suicidal Seagull!

New Year, New Term, New Exams!

I bid good evening to all you people out there roaming across the information super-highway which is, predominately, full of litter. As I pen this small note I am frantically trying to revise with my other hand (what is a quadratic anyway?!?) as for St Andrews students tomorrow marks the start of an examination period.

Davisons have already faced the wrath of such exams a month or two back and, just as we laughed then, the tables have now turned and they shall be laughing at us as we struggle through whilst still recovering from our new year hangovers! And what a first day we have too- maths, science and geography! Oh the thoughlessness of the timetable makers!

Anyway enough of my grumbling (revision to do) and I wish everyone who are undertaking in the mocks the very best of luck! (unless you want to do badly in which case you deserve everything you recieve!)

Good day to everyone. The holidays are finally upon us and it's great to have tons of free time now to do whatever we want. So far we have both, however, been bored- and I think that this is a common and understated problem.

Many people, which I regularly communicate, are also of the belief that there is very little activities in which ladies and gentlemen of our age group can partake in. Certainly, the larger towns (such as Worthing) and the big city (Brighton & Hove) offer a fair range of social endeavours however none of them are deeply fulfilling. Here in sunny Shoreham there are no such activities and we spend our time engaging in physical exercise (badminton, cycling and suchlike) I think it's about time everyone did something interesting with the holiday that we have all been so looking forward to. So then, any ideas anyone?

IT'S CHRISTMAS!

Hello again you very bored people indeed and welcome back to the wonderous and fantastical realms of our blog. As I scribe this message into the blog to rest for ages we are resting on the penultimate day of our school term, yes, the much-hyped Christmas is also here and so we thought it was time to get festive! In not so many big words that basically means it's the last day of school otmorrow and Christmas is just round the (even though rather long) courner. Obviously though we have taken care of that by doing all our christmas shopping way in advance (for ourselves of course; remids me...)

The Christmas Dinner (in which a vast majority of the school congegate) was an event that had to be seem to be believed and was wonderful, even if not for the food! Mark and I then travelled home sporting our newly obtained paper Chistmas hats which attracted many a stare from CHAV's and normal folk alike! Lmao as it were (not literally i'd like to mention). Christmas dinner was good. I throughly enjoyed my turkey wrapped in a layer of gelotine and the potatoes with each one manufactured and precessed so it was percislet the same as the last. God it was great! Althrogh the hats did make up for it; i happen to still be 'sporting' mine right now. Rather handsome if i may be so bold. Maybe i could start a new trend... (see the pic)

There was also an excuse to build a grand project. Mark and I finally got round to building a metre-long, paper aeroplane which was constructed predominately of card and sticky tape and flew rather gracefully I must say! Oh and you can find pictures of this amazing feet somewhere around on this blog. Its hard to imagine a paper plane just so big and what a great thing to do in a science lesson. Althrough i must add it did in fact take two science lessons the sencond to get it trimmed so it flew beautifully like a knife throguht butter (sorry, had to be said)

We also completed our science presentation of 'the orgins of Ben' (see an earlier blog for full details) which drew many laughs and cheers, strangely for Ben's mum?!? Yes yes, i know very random indeed this but it, again, had to be done. It was quite funny really got a laugh or two at the homozygous part. With Frazer taking the piss; poor ben, and his mum!

Anyways, I feel your otherwise focused attention slow ebbing away and speculate that it is time to close. Before I do, however, I would like to give a 'shout' to alex who, very kindy, left a comment on the previous post. She's great and so we're 'bigging her up' as per her suggestion (hope i've 'bigged it up' enough there alex!) I really don't think that was bigged up enough so i thought i'd big it up a bit more just so it was slightly bigger. Can you actually beelive people are reading this i mean its basically at its 200th reader now. I cant beleive it; i never knew our lives were this intresting; maybe we should start a new typoe of Truman show? It's an idea; it you like it tell us. So yes Thank you alex for the comment and i hope it is what you expected and im sure we can work something out that is bigger next time. I'd also like to say happy birthday to alex because i've got a feeling its possiably her birthday (...soon...). But until then Merry Christmas everyone.

As the latop which I am currently writing crashed halfway through this message I thought that this quote from Alice Kahn was wholely appropriate 'For a list of all the ways technology has failed to improve the quality of life, please press three.' Oh dam it. I am whole heartidly (excuse the spelling , you get the idea) annoyed. Thats life hey; yet i'd also like to leave a quote "Don't you sometimes wish TV's had a intelligance knob. Theres one for brightness but it doesnt work". Unrelated yes but still very true.
